4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice and BrightVerified Buyer Reviewed by kk from monterey bay, ca on Thursday, January 31, 2013Okay-this is the third pair of shoes I have ordered from Karhu. Although I liked the first 2, I really didn't buy them for running as much as just wearing with casual clothes. Each was designed for a different use/different kind of runner, and one can really tell the difference. The Fulcrum feels very cushy and roomy, yet also supportive enough that I feel I do not need to add my heavy-duty orthotics. The shoe's profile is fairly low, and the color is quite eye-popping. A great shoe, especially for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by P from Duluth, MN on Sunday, October 14, 2012I am always in search of the prefect shoe that I can use with orthotics, and I have found them! I liked them so much that I bought 2 more pair for my daughters, and also convinced my neighbor that she needed the too! She also loves them! My use: race walking. Both my daughter and I did 5K's with no break in and no issues! The Finn's know how to design shoes!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not as comfy as I hopedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Reg from Austin on Sunday, September 23, 2012I have flat feet and was looking for a comfortable walking and light running shoe to help with pronation. These are very cute shoes, but they just weren't that comfortable. There is good arch support, but the front shoe box area felt a little snug and the heel was a little loose (a problem I have with some brands). Also, the transition from the foot bed up the arch felt very uncomfortable to me. I really wanted to like these, but they had to go back.
- Cons: Uncomfortable
- Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
- Pros: Good Arch Support, Good Traction, Lightweight, Pronation Control

5.0 out of 5 stars. Thoroughly Impressed!Reviewed by pfriedchick from Miami, FL on Monday, June 4, 2012This is the first time I've tried Karhu and right out of the box I must say that they don't disappoint. I've tried, Asics Gel, Saucony Pro Grid, and Brooks Adrenaline and all of them still left me with chin splints and calf pain about 1-2 miles into my regular 5 mile runs. However, I tried these Karhu Strong 2 shoes for the first time yesterday, and I was shocked to find out that I had no chin or calf pain throughout my entire run. I would definitley recommend this shoe to flat overpronators like myself!
