3.0 out of 5 stars. nylon pantVerified Buyer Reviewed by Long term buyer from nyc on Sunday, February 7, 2016it's thick.rough and feel itchy. Also look old. Not something I expect from Mountain Hardwear.fit wise, loose fit and feel like longer than 32 inseam. It maybe for someone else but not for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Tough, but comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by MTman from Switzerland on Thursday, December 24, 2015Recent purchase is my second pair. Used my first pair for 4 days in Yellowstone this past September, and decided I needed a second pair. These stretchy pants are comfortable but still offer good protection against sticks etc. compared to other lighter stretch pants I have used. The fleece pockets are really nice on a cold morning. I do not think I would wear these pants during hot weather, but if I plan any off-trail travel and want more protection, or the weather is expected to be a bit chilly, these pants will be the ones I choose.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great so far!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Thursday, December 17, 2015I haven't had these out in the field yet, so I can't comment about durability. I wear a 36 waist / 32 inseam and the fit is nearly perfect. Slightly long, if anything, and about perfect in the waist. There's just a little room in the waist to allow layering. They seem like they'll hold up though. The material is a fairly soft, heavy nylon canvas with a DWR. I tested the DWR by sprinkling some water on them, and it beads nicely. We'll see how that holds up over time and washings. If I had to nitpick, the pockets seem a little small, and the pocket on the side of the knee seems nearly useless, but the pockets do have a nice fleece lining. I try not to keep much stuff in my pockets while hiking, so I'm not that worried about it. Overall, I'm very pleased with them for the price I paid, and can't wait to get them out on the trail.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great pantVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gumper from Cottonwood Heights, UT on Tuesday, December 1, 2015We were very disappointed that these had to be returned instead of exchanged; there wasn't a size we needed, 32x32. The next size up were huge on. These will not disappoint if they have your size. They are so nice looking that can be worn out and about.

5.0 out of 5 stars. LoveVerified Buyer Reviewed by court in the canoe from the Ozarks on Monday, November 30, 2015I love these pants. Two weeks in Peru and these jungle pants held up well. They have flannel(ish) pockets which definitely say these are not warm weather pants but they were comfortable on the inca trail and sturdy enough that I was able to roll them up on a particularly warm morning and they stayed up thoughout the day. I wore them one morning in the jungle (HOT!) and they were thick enough to keep the bugs at bay.

5.0 out of 5 stars. My favorite hiking pantsReviewed by MLP Kayaker from Kentucky on Sunday, November 29, 2015These are my favorite hiking pants since they have nylon and spandex in the material. These provide great comfort, flexibility, and make them repel moisture (mist and very light rain).
