5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Price, Great Fit

I just spent 7 days backpacking the Never Summer Wilderness in Colorado and the Snowy Range in Wyoming. The pack was the right size for all my gear and once adjusted to fit my torso, the weight was evenly distributed on my hips and shoulders. I'm very happy with this pack.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Can't go Wrong

The pack is well designed. Fits me like a charm especially after fully adjusting the straps. Weight is carried evenlyrics and secured. My only complaint is that a single stitch started to undo from the hip belt. No biggie but not cool. That's why I gave it a 4 and not 5
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Stellar Pack

I purchased this pack this past April and used it on 3 separate week Iong trail building trips in the Colorado mountains. With all the food, gear, and tools we carry, it adds up to quite a bit of weight. This pack handled it well. The "day pack" is laughably small and almost useless as a day pack. It does however make a great "bathroom bag" for those times when it's "Pack it in - Pack it out". Adjustment of the straps is a pain in the a** and takes a bit if tweaking to get it just right. One bonus I wasn't aware of before purchasing was the Velcro tabs for securing hiking poles.
This pack is definitely worth the price and performs great.
One more thing... It doesn't come with a rain cover.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Good backpack

Used this backpack once so far. Large opening to access your stuff, and nice divider on the bottom for shoes, etc. Fits comfortably once adjusted. Nice compartment on top for extra gear. Would just prefer if day pack were a little larger.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Disappointing quality

Dang zippers. The have been around for 160 years and some manufacturers still cannot get them right. I had a North Face backpack for 25 years and the zippers always work. I finally invest in a new backback and a simple zipper on the top pocket breaks on day 4 of our hiking trip. Not overstuffed. Just poor quality. Soooooo... very disappointed.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome BAG
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Josepi from Pennsylvania on Friday, June 3, 2016
I love this bag. Doesn't have any side storage for little odds and ends and that's the only reason it didn't get a 5 star. The day pack that attaches to the back is awesome and has enough storage for any day trip or excursion from where you base your long hike.
