5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Tent - 3 years and going strong!
Reviewed by Fenwick Periwinkle from Oregon on Wednesday, February 24, 2016
I thought I would write a review due to a previous review that questioned the quality of this tent. I bought this tent from STP about 3 years ago and it is still going strong. I have spent nights in it when it is sub-freezing, nights when it is hot and buggy and also nights that were rainy - from family hiking trips to a wilderness river float trip to a bear hunt. I have set it up many times after dark and appreciated the ease. A great, simple tent that does almost everything. I have had no leaks and everything continues to hold up well.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome Tent

Recently took this tent on its maiden voyage to a state park. First evening it rained lightly and the tent performed wonderfully. The second night we got a light frost and the tent kept it easily 5 degrees warmer inside. The interior would be very tight for four. We fit two normal sized people and our dog on her large bed. There was leftover space inside for gear if we needed it in there. This tent allows for decent privacy even if you don't use the rainfly. I'm thinking it may get pretty hot in the warmer months, but the doors each have a zip-down window on them.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Route 66
Reviewed by RowdyRou from AZ on Thursday, July 26, 2018
My sister bought this tent and has taken it on many of her adventures. We just finished biking Route 66 this summer and that tent was a lifesaver! During a lightening storm we had a tree fall on us and brake the orange tent pole, so we had to splint and tie it every night we camped after that bc there wasn’t really a way to order a new one along the route. The tent has a lot of ventilation-2 mesh walls and mesh door windows that can be opened or closed. Also has 2 mesh pockets in the corner to hold phones and things so they don’t get lost in the tent. Lots of loops and things around the tent for hanging flashlights or a fan! We fit 4 adult women in there, it was shoulder to shoulder, but it was nice only having to pack, pay for (in certain camping sites), and set up one tent.
The tent fly is water proof and kept us dry during many a rainstorm!
    Love this tent!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Took out this weekend

Just got it in the mail and took it out this weekend. It will fit a queen sized airmatress which is important for me and my gf. We had heavy (but short lasting) rain and the tent did not leaking at all.

Super easy to set up for a novice camper, quite roomy if you do a smaller air mattress. It can fit 2 people, a full sized air mattress and I'd say 1 maybe 2 full sized dogs.

With the queen we can fit our dufflebags in the tent easily and some random things.

My biggest concern is airflow, bit if the rainflu is on and it's not raining just unzip both doors. If you want more airflow take the rainfly off completely. I'd suggest 2 battery operated fans as well.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Not a 3-Season Tent
Reviewed by WyomingAlpine from WY on Friday, June 15, 2018
This tent is only for good weather (when you don't really need a tent). It has only 2 poles and they are flimsy. This tent collapses and twists in even light winds. This is like the kind of tent you buy at Walmart called "camp friend" or something. A 15 mph wind will lay it on the ground. This is more of a toy than a tent. Spend a little more, get a real tent. I returned mine.
