Didn't want to spend a ton on Birks (already tried a Madden Girl sandal that looked like a Birk and they were [...]), so checked in on Sierra.com on a whim and found these New Balance sandals.
I wear New Balance Minimus trainers when I work out so I already trusted the brand and I am not disappointed. These sandals are adjustable in about every way and are shaped to fit my foot. I can't wear sandals that don't provide support so that is a a win on its own.
These are comfortable and seem to be well constructed and I am so far very happy - especially at this price! Crazy. -

I deducted one star because the heel strap is double thick and sticks out a bit. Also, there is no padding on the straps across the top of the foot like I have on other sandals. But the nubuck leather is soft, so that is not too much of an issue.
I did not have a problem with the strap across the instep being too short, as mentioned in other reviews. I wear a size 7 regular width in most shoes, but always get 7-1/2 or 8 in New Balance running shoes. So, I ordered a size 8 wide in these sandals, and it was too long. The width was fine. Sent it back for a size 7 wide. -

The straps are all adjustable which is good, but doesn’t seem to make a difference regarding the overall fit. It’s just kind of a weirdly shaped sandal. Okay for the price, but I will probably try to find a different pair for myself.

They just feel a bit tight on the top of my feet. I'm hoping since they're leather that they'll stretch out after a few wears.
