Red Ledge Thunderlight Parka - Waterproof (For Women)

I bought two in pink -- one for myself and one as a gift. It is a beautiful raincoat that is very flattering, works well and is full of pleasant little details and surprises:

1. The most pleasant surprise for me was to find that although the hood is not removable, it can be tucked away neatly into the back of the collar for a "hoodless" look that is not bulky. Once you fold the hood into the collar, use the little velcro dots to secure it in place until you want to use it.

2. The hood has a little brim that you can fold out to prevent rain from dripping down into your eyes. If you don't want to use the brim, just fold it back under.

3. Hidden inside the pockets are little tabs that you can pull to cinch the waist, giving the coat a flattering shape, and without visible drawstrings.

4. There are zippered arm vents that you can open or close as needed to prevent you from sweating.

5. Elastic and Velcro at the cuff allow you to adjust to the size of your wrist, for a secure fit or to let air in.

6. The neck is lined with a soft microfiber kind of material that prevents the raincoat material from rubbing against your neck if you aren't wearing something with a collar.

7. The two little front pockets and left breast pocket will hold small items such as the pouch the raincoat comes in.
