The legs are cut for mobility. I bought these for daily wear and as a forester I can wear these in the woods or in town. They're comfortable. They wash & dry well. The fit and size, 32x32, is as expected from Royal Robbins. Also, the bottom of the pants are reinforced so they don't fray as quickly as most pants. They continue to look new when most pants start showing wear. The STP price is excellent. I may need an additional pair.

Well made, nice fabric and fit, except for the completely un-slim legs. If they made a slim version they would be perfect.

They fit just a bit snug on the hips when first putting them on after a wash, but stretch quickly. Due to the weight of the fabric I need a belt to keep them up. They have a side pocket for my phone (smaller LG) and are cut for activity and comfort like most Royal Robbins wear. I love them, they should last for years.
