She loves fashionable stuff. I was surprised she liked this jacket since it is rather boring in color and not a super unique style. However, it gives a nice shape with the belt--and it's a great price. Perfect for fall or spring weather. Hood is great too--for rain of course! It's made really well too.

It's perfect for cool, windy, potentially rainy spring and fall days. Has a more conservative look that goes well with office clothing, while providing the wind and waterproof technical performance. The belt can be a little annoying if you're just wearing it for short periods, but does give it a nice, clean silhouette. I'm 5'9", 165 with somewhat broad shoulders the the large fits me perfectly.

I tightened the belt to fit my waist but when I hand it up the receiving end sides through to the back. Annoying to have to thread it back through, but I just loosened the belt and this doesn't happen any more.

This jacket is very stylish, with interesting design details. The construction was good, and the fabric looked very nice. If I were 5'8" and slim, I believe I would have loved this jacket. The waistline is emphasized with a belt, and would likely be flattering on a taller or slimmer person. This jacket was not flattering on my figure, but it is well made and designed, and I'm sure many women will love it.
