Great lens but....Verified Buyer Reviewed by ski dad from Washington on Wednesday, April 18, 2018The goggles are well made and the lens is much better than some of the other well know brands commonly seen on kids. Unfortunately, the strap is too short. It barely fits on my kids helmet.
Great lenses but NOT HELMET COMPATIBLEReviewed by Coach from Colorado Rockies on Friday, December 22, 2017The lenses are wonderful. Low visible light transmission and a great look. I've been wearing VZ goggles for years and love them, so I was thrilled to buy two pairs for my sons.
Here comes the problem:
The strap however is way too short to use with a helmet. I consider it a fatal error to take a child skiing without a helmet. So how on earth can a goggle company make a strap that is clearly not helmet compatible? We have two boys ages 7 and 10 and they wear two different child sized helmets. We loosened the strap to it's limit and the goggles did not fit either without stretching them to a ridiculous limit. In fact we broke one of the claps trying to make it work. We're going to keep them and switch out some straps from some old goggles (these lenses really are awesome). I can imagine that others might want to avoid this extra hassle.
Sorry VZ, you make great goggles, but this model is a fail.
