LovelyVerified Buyer Reviewed by esylvie from Chicago on Wednesday, November 15, 2017I wish I could have kept this coat. I ordered a size M and it was too loose. Sadly, there is no size S.
Great valueVerified Buyer Reviewed by NorCal Gal from Northern CA on Monday, November 13, 2017This is a great value for the price. It is quite warm and water repellent. As well, it is figure flattering.
nice fabricVerified Buyer Reviewed by beth from plymouth on Monday, October 23, 2017slimming fit, nice enough to wear for dress. Sleeves were a little long but liner material looks nice folded up.
Very nice!Verified Buyer Reviewed by GreenGirl from Chicago suburbs on Wednesday, September 20, 2017An attractive jacket/coat with kind of a 1960s style. I'm rather tall with long arms, so I wasn't sure the sleeves would be long enough. But they fit as perfectly as the rest of it does. Can't wait for cooler weather now!

“Is this warm enough for a quick trip to the store when it gets cold, or do I need layers under it and do I need a size larger for that ?”
It is fairly warm although pretty thin. I find it a little stiff but the collar comes up pretty high which helps block the wind. The zippers are metal and don't slide as easily as I'd like, It wold be nice if the zipper was 2-way since the coat ends mid-thigh. Overall a pretty comfortable, attractive coat.
I've found that it's warm enough on a blustery day in the Chicago area with just a rather thin sweater under it, but I'm not sure if that would work in really cold weather (below 30 degrees or so). The fit is quite slim, so you might need to order a larger size if you plan to wear layers or a heavy sweater under it. Hope that helps!
