Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by 3345pat from Monroe, VA on Thursday, April 27, 2017Very warm & flattering. Look forward to using it next winter!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by piratefn from South Carolina on Tuesday, January 24, 2017I really wanted this coat to work. It was light weight and fit well but the zipper was very frustrating to operate. A better quality zipper would make this coat perfect. Unfortunately, I had to send it back.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kathy from Ohio on Wednesday, January 18, 2017Attractive style as it is tapered at waste. Fit as expected. Brown color is a cocoa brown. Definitely lightweight but also quite warm. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the zipper is hard to get started.
Reviewed by Helen Ivavova from Ukraine on Monday, January 16, 2017This coat disappointed me after I wore it a few times. Feathers can be seen from every seam inside and outside. The bad jacket, though it is well warms
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nancy from Minnesota on Tuesday, January 3, 2017The style, quality and comfort of this jacket are the best. The stitching is so cute and it is true to size. It's a great lightweight down jacket. Can't say enough good things about it.

I think you will be ok at around the freezing point, but I don't think it would be suitable for much colder. I have worn it at that temperature and it was fine. The length of the coat gives it added warmth.
I would say not for single digits and below. Would keep you warm from 25 degrees and warmer
This is not a jacket for single digits or minus weather. It is definitely for more mild weather. I usually get it out when it's in the 30's. I add a thin layered jacket and I am quite toasty. You get quite a lot of warmth for a thin layered coat.
