The fur panel runs from the collar all the to the bottom of the back panel. The orange color is nice and not glaring. If you like clothing close fitting you may want to go down a size but I am happy with the extra room and I ordered a large.

The dense pile inside the collar and lining inside the back will keep you warm. I love this vest. The purple color is not as intense as shown in the picture. I ordered a size large to ensure a sweater will fit underneath. It does.

It has two slit zipped pockets........warm enough for 30 degree weather.......I am 4'10", 110lbs, bust 36-38", length is good...I bought a size M which covers butt nicely.
My only comment, which seems to hold true for most vests I have looked at and some purchased: most do not have inside vest pockets and most slit pockets are not big enough for an Iphone 6s...the phone may fit but a little tight....I don't feel comfortable having to remember to zip the pocket closed.
