Verified Buyer Reviewed by BH Hiker from Black Hills, SD on Wednesday, February 6, 2013These are nice shoes but they are a little stiff. Haven't worn them enough to see if they get more flexible but I suspect that they will. Happy with this purchase
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Woodsman from Alabama on Thursday, January 17, 2013I am usually working in the outdoors cutting and splitting wood, trimming trees and general work on the farm. Good traction is a must when you are handling a chain saw and these shoes definitely fit the bill.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jubo from Los Osos, CA on Saturday, January 5, 2013Might work well for general wear. Might be too stiff and inflexible for extended hikes.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Grumpy from Crawford Co on Friday, December 28, 2012I always look forward to a new catalog. My preference in footwear is a sturdy walking shoe treated with Gore Tex. I usually find something that is near to half of the retail price. Recently I ordered 3 shoes. They were here in just a couple days and the shipping was unbelievable reasonable. Unfortunately they were a tad small. I used the return tag sent with the order requesting the next size. Those shoes were here ---once more---in just a couple days. Again, the shipping charges were unbelievably reasonable. The shoes fit well and are comfortable. I am set now in the shoe department for the next 18 months. Footwear from Sierra Trading is what is always on my feet..
