Reviewed by Devon from Virginia on Monday, January 12, 2015The most important thing for most use is that the blade is on the opposite side from the key ring. This has that which makes it convenient to use. Unfortunately, the file is sort of useless to me as a file. In the past they had a flat blade screwdriver tip, but this file comes to a point, which isn't as useful. I did use the point to unscrew a really tiny phillips head holding the battery cover on something, so that was convenient.

Giving it to all my 6 sisters, female in laws and nieces as stocking stuffer. At < $5 you can't go wrong. Does not have all the bells and whistles but most women would love to have this on their key chain or in their purse for those unforeseen emergencies.

This would not be a good choice, items 6440H or 6440J are better options for a young scout.
