    • The answer below is correct in my opinion too. The Bokers knives would be a better choice for scouting.

  • “I see some reviewers saying this knife is on the small side - would this be a good basic know for youth? 3rd-5th Cub Scouts/Webelos is what I have in mind.

    • This would not be a good choice, items 6440H or 6440J are better options for a young scout.
