4.0 out of 5 stars. Great features, light weight, but too much padding in the shoulder strapsReviewed by Tina from Iowa on Sunday, August 4, 2013We bought two of these backpacks for our boys because they are light weight and are adjustable to fit their torsos. There are quite a pockets and secret compartments for the boys to store all sorts of gidgets and gadgets - which they thought was super cool. I like everything about the pack but it has a little too much padding on the shoulder straps, and it is a dense foam. If it softens up after using them it should be fine. We will be testing them out on an upcoming trip to Yosemite and Kings Canyon. That will be the real field test.
