Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Poorly madeReviewed by Kimberly Kelly from Washigton on Sunday, July 1, 2018I just bought this tent for summer camping. We set it up in the backyard for a trial run. Putting the side middle poles (not corners) on made the stitching rip. Took it back and returned it. Super bummed because I liked the layout.
Bad sewing with stake loopsReviewed by Anon from Florida on Saturday, June 2, 2018I would give the product a single start, but the customer service was great.
I followed the directions exactly how they were printed on the inside of the tent bag. While pitching the tent, the loops of the stakes ripped and there were two holes in my tent. I had to spend the night with duct tape to block the holes in the event of rain. I returned the tent and Sierra trading post helped me out immensely. Wenzel also provided great customer service as well.
Complete JunkReviewed by MountainMama from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 29, 2018I've been camping for years and have used my REI tent exclusively. My family has outgrown that tent, so we decided to look for something easier on the budget than a bigger $500 REI tent. I read reviews about this tent everywhere I could find them and felt it seemed to be a nice tent. I received it last week and set it up in my yard to get familiar with it. Upon setting it up, the bottom seams where the floor attaches to the tent started fraying and coming apart. It was most apparent where the side poles attach. The corners weren't as bad, but still coming apart. The stitches were just popping! The sewing was so poor in some spots that there were holes in the fabric. I can just imagine the water this tent would take on! You obviously get what you pay for, and this was a painful reminder of that.
Great purchaseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Traceland from Utah on Thursday, May 24, 2018We took our tent down to Moab and it’s perfect, especially the space. I’m 6’4” and can stand in this tent perfectly. We beat the bugs by utilizing the porch feature, 5 people all in 5 camping chairs and a table fit perfectly with plenty of space. Great purchase and highly recommended!
