As the teens might say, . . Meh . . .

I have to admit, I was buying these to replace a pair of Simple brand slippers, which were luxurious -- and by comparison, these were a) wool and b) slip-ons, but not nearly as nice. The color is not vibrant. The sole is thin; there's a weird trim sewn onto the top of the insole that is uncomfortable, and they are slippers/scuffs, not mules, per se. I ordered two sizes bigger and they fit -- so from a 43 to a 45. But, they are better than bare feet for me.
