Box seems well made, the foam makes it easy to securely hold flies - its a salt water box for me so I am holding hook sizes 8 to 3/0 and all seem snug. Nice that you can see both sides of the box and double the number of flies you can hold. Only small complain is that the box is a bit on the heavy side but hopefully that will mean that it will take beating in the boat and on planes without cracking.

This is a great fly box for the boat. It's especially nice for larger flys. I like the slotted foam because it holds the flies securely without getting torn up by the hooks. I gave it four stars since durability is yet to be determined. It seems very well made. As long as the hinge and matches hold up well, it will deserve 5 stars from me.

I like the clear see through lids, the laches have a soft click when locking the lid making you think it did not close but they latch fine and do not pop open accidently. The boxes sold out too quickly to purchase a couple more but will keep watch if available again.

Founded in 1999, Wetfly presents world renowned flies tied by partner Craig Black, who has been tying quality flies worldwide for more than 35 years. Craig learned the craft from his dad, Dennis, the original founder of Umpqua, and started some of the first fly-tying factories in Thailand in the '70s. He continues to direct the production of top quality, hand-tied flies for Wetfly.
