The length wasn't quite right for me (I ordered a medium and I am 5'4") and it made me feel a little boxy (square). Might run a little big? But I'm not sure. Also, the material is nice and light for summer, but the white is so thin I'm pretty sure you would be able to see most panties underneath.

I'd advise to size based on your waist size, not your hips, because the body of the skirt has a fairly lose fit. I'm 5'7" 138lbs, and usually wear a 6 or 8, but have a slim waist as compared to hips. I purchased this in size 6, but upon receiving, wish I'd purchased a size 4. I will probably keep the skirt (it is khaki, which is now sold out), but I do wish it had a slightly slimmer fit overall. Cargo pockets are not bulky, which is a plus. Yes this is a light material, but that I love.

I feel I could wear this to work (with nice sandals), or out for a walk (with tennis shoes). Seems very durable with nice pockets. It's hard to see from the photo, but the waist sits higher in the back, by an inch or more. It would be nice if a photo showed a side view, so that you could see how the waist "rises" toward the back. I like that design.
