I went on a 8 mile shake down hike where there could have been rain/snow at high elevation but just got wind. Used this jacket as a windbreak and it worked great for that but it wouldn't let the sweat out. I was progressively getting wetter inside the jacket. It came to the point where I had to remove the jacket in fear of getting completely drenched in my sweat (base layer and layer over that were performing terrific). I stuffed the jacket back in my pack for the rest of the trip. When I pulled it out the next day it was still wet on the inside. I had high hopes for this rain jacket since I will be going to Philmont this year during the monsoon season but it definitely won't be going since it's not breathable.
