Waterproof yes, breathable NO!!!!

I needed an occasional pair of cover pants while on the course and caught in rain.

These packed very well and were lightweight so I want for them.

They are waterproof but become a sauna because I don't feel they breathe at all. If worn by themselves it doesn't take long to saturate with your own sweat. If worn over another pair of pants, it takes just a bit longer to face the same fate.

They are good for an hour or so but after that it seems like it is raining from the inside out.
