Comfortable and light, but missing features

I wore these pants for 4 straight days, hiking the Inca trail in Peru.

While these pants were certainly comfortable and lightweight, and yet rugged enough, I felt that they were missing important features that I've appreciated in other outdoor pants:
- Very few pockets. Most outdoor pants have both rear pockets, and multiple front pockets with good zipper closures. These had only two front "bucket" pockets with no closures.
- No drawstrings or bungee cords at cuffs. A good pair of camping pants should allow you to shorten them, if need be and circumstances require, to get the cuffs out of the way (of a stream, mud, etc.). These did not offer that option.

Next time, I'd choose a pair of pants with more thoughtful and useful features.
