Okay but not great shirt

I bought a white one of these for backpacking two years ago, and it's held up well though of course it's got permanent stains. Like most synthetics, it's pretty hot in summer, but it does dry quickly. Then I bought blue and green ones less than a year ago, thinking they wouldn't get as badly stained. They haven't, but they're hotter in the sun due to being darker colors, so I wear them a lot less. The fabric is just not all that comfortable to me for any of them, but I bought three because I'm forcing myself to wear long sleeves for sun protection and I was too lazy to shop for something that might be more comfortable after finding a size that fit well with the first one, My real complaint is that I sewed six buttons onto the blue one yesterday after having one come off and then seeing that all the others were about to come off. And now I just finished resewing seven onto the green one, because they were all about to come off too. The buttons on the white shirt that is both a year older and has been used a lot harder are all still firmly attached. White Sierra has evidently switched to some kind of shoddy button-sewing machine and/or thread.
