The Paradise Cove jacket (in Bark color) that I received was not the same as pictured. The hood/collar was made differently, the hood did not stow away into the collar, which was a feature that I had wanted. I returned it, but first had the opportunity to go outside in a strong wind. I think the nylon fabric is fairly wind proof, but the mesh pockets did let a lot of wind through to my body, so the overall impression I had was that it was not a very warm or windproof shell. But the fit was good and true to size, and the quality seemed decent.

I bought this to replace a landend windbreaker my husband had. He wanted a windbreaker with a stowable hood and these are hard to find. I was a little worried about whether it would be long enough (he is 6'2" and is long waisted) but it fits great and he really enjoys it. The blue color on the internet is accurate. We also like that it is tapered long in front. He could fit in a large but I ordered extra large so he can wear layers under it. We will be taking to Europe soon. Great buy!

Best features are the high-zip neck with the hood sewn on at base of neck, adjustable hood for good fit with or without hat, not too tight with layers but not too lose without layers, long arms suitable for bicycling and reaching, velcro-adjustable wrists, quiet and lightweight material that blocks wind, breathable so far (at least in winter). The XL size is just right for me, 5'10" and a heavy 200 lbs. And, of course, STP is the best place to shop for great gear at a great price with great customer service.

When I start a walk uncertain about the weather this jacket is perfect. When it's packed in its pocket it's perfect for hanging on a belt loop. If, later on I need more protection, it's there. Otherwise it's unobtrusive. The sizing is good although the hood is pretty bit but ok over a hat with a brim. Another Sierra good deal.

The jacket not used yet, so this only my initial impressions. Looks like well made jacket, even I would prefer some ventilation. The size runs on the small side, so thin layering only or size up.

This is a perfect jacket for use as an out layer when exercising outdoors. It's lightweight and and helps keep the weather off of me during long mountain runs.

The hood bungee was broken when I got this product. Would have been nice if the inspector had seen that and shipped me an unblemished product. Instead of returning it - I needed it for a race - I fixed it myself.
