Excellent value for midweight snow pant

It would be hard to beat the value for the money. I purchased these pants as a "backup" pair to take along on a weekend trek in case my primary Nordicas developed any problems. I tried out the White Sierra pants just for the heck of it, and found them surprisingly comparable to the much-more-expensive pants I have owned. They are not heavy or bulky, rather a great midweight pant that would be ideal in most conditions if layered with lighter pants underneath. They offer a decent amount of freedom of movement without binding or feeling like the fabric is about to rip apart. The shell lives up to its water repellency claims and breathes impressively well. While I do not use the pockets on pants like these, I understand that some folks may find thigh pockets desirable, and these pants do not have them.
