Seems warm, hopefully durable

I bought the 4 for my 3.5 year old in hopes that he'll get 2 years' wear from it and then can pass it on to his brother. I wasn't really familiar with White Sierra prior to this purchase, but for the price, I was willing to give it a try. My main concern is that my son will stay warm and dry in his snow play and as he learns to ski this winter. As we've not yet had snow, I can't attest to the waterproof nature of the bibs, though other reviewers seem to be happy enough. They seem pretty well insulated without being overly bulky. The fit on my son, who is a little on the tall skinny side, is good. He was so excited to try them on that he put them on over his shirt and jeans that he had on and they fit fine. He definitely has some growing room without looking like he's swimming in the bibs. If your child has a little more of a belly, these bibs may be on the snug side, though it's hard to say. I wish these had abrasion patches at least along the inner cuffs to keep them from getting too roughed up by boots. And at least when I bought them the description said there was an elasticized gripper on the gaiters, but this isn't the case, which I don't like.
I'll try to update my review once we have a chance to test them out this winter.
