You Get What You Pay For

I suppose the price was too good to be true, but I couldn't resist buying. When I got it I realized that a cheap rain jacket is...well, a cheap rain jacket. I have three other shells, including Columbia and Marmot. This one was the most inexpensive and as a result, the most featureless. The bottom line is that it is a "plastic feeling" rain jacket that is neither light or supple feeling. I was going to send it back, but figured that I would shove it in my golf bag for those spring squalls that we occasionally get in the Inland Northwest. While this jacket is nothing special, it is better than one of those heavy, hot Frogger jackets that I had in my golf bag!
