Bought this for my husband, who is pretty hefty. (Size 2XL). It's still a little snug, but should be okay. He hasn't worn it yet, but a nice plus is that it's very lightweight so it folds to a relatively small size. This is perfect for our purposes which are to take camping/hiking. So it won't take up the whole backpack & won't be too heavy, but should keep him dry. We liked that the hood has an adjustment.

This is a great rain jacket. It is well made and the material is great. I wanted to get a jacket for my sons to walk to class in during the warm months of college where they didn't want to add any extra layers. It is perfect for this. It is sleek and looks nice on. The only issue men might have with this jacket is that it has many velcro "buttons" to keep the flap down over the zipper. It is nice as the zipper is hidden, giving it a sleek look, but there are many of these velcro buttons. They are large, so easy for big hands, but take more time than just zipping. Just an FYI if you are an impatient person, it might annoy you.

living in south Florida I don't need warmth as much as protection from rain and wind. This jacket will provide both with good quality at a very reasonable price.
