Hard to find boots for 3 pin bindings. These boots are comfortable, lightweight. They are much more supportive and stable than my previous boots. I have only had one outing so far and they were great. I did order one full US size larger than my usual. I wear a womens US size 9 and the US size 1... Read More

I have been looking for a long time for boots that cover the ankle. These are very comfortable; very much like my hiking boots which I also love. Very stable and supportive.
I did find that they are sized small. I normally wear 39 (size 8 US) and had return those and to order 40.
Also love that they have 3-pin bindings so I don't have to change the bindings on my skis.

My one star is to warn people about sizing on this boot. They run much below the actual size. I have owned several pairs of X-country boots, always size 46. That matches the 12 1/2 I wear in running shoes and all the conversion charts I have seen. In these boots, a 46 jammed my toe against the end of the boot. I could barely get my foot in. I reordered 48s which fit fine, though the Zappos table says this should be a US size 15! Be forewarned.
A heavy boot good for backcountry skiing.

We are so delighted to finally have new boots for our "old" skis...we still use the 3 pin system and love our skis, so these boots are perfect. Much higher than the old "shoe" type and still good support. We can't wait to get out and use them in March when the snow hopefully returns!

    • Yes, you can return, they should have included a sticker do so. If not you can print another one. I think it's like $3 to return but they are really good about returning.

    • If you know your size in Euro I would easily go 2 above that. My wife is 39/40 in Euro and we ended up with 42. My guess would be a 48 if this holds true. Good luck.

    • My girlfriend is a size 9 1/2 womens, and I bought her a pair that she loves. We used them once already and they worked great for the old style I got her 2 sizes larger then what was suggested online( they suggested a 41), did the same for me, and they fit perfectly with thick socks. So in the end, she is wearing a 43, if you want it a little tighter fit, go with a 42.

    • FYI, for other women trying to figure out how to size these boots, I am a women's size 9 shoe and a women's size 9.5 hiking boot. I ended up with a size 41 in these, but it took 3 attempts. I started with a size 42 based on the VT user's feedback. But even with my heavy wool socks and a sock liner, the boots were much too loose. (As unisex boots, note that they are wider all around than women's boots.) They felt SO big that I next ordered a size 40. But while the width in the 40 felt good, they were too short; my big toe was jammed against the front of the boot. The size 41 turned out to be the best fit. I think. I'm now waiting for it to snow again so that I can test them out for real.
