I already had a few of these exact shirts. I have had them for years. When I saw them on sale, it dawned on me how well the old ones held up and I got a couple more. They are just like the old ones only new. I don't think you can go wrong with these. I highly recommend, even at full price they are g...

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike canoeing in Quebec from Wareham, MA on Monday, June 30, 2014I was looking for a turtleneck for a canoeing trip to northern Quebec where warmth and bug protection were of chief importance. This turtleneck shirt has good, tight wrist and neck openings. The neck could use some additional elasticity when going over the head but once on was snug around the neck. My biggest complaint concerns the length of the shirt tails which where just barely long enough to tuck into pants. Otherwise the shirt fit fine.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa from CT on Monday, April 14, 2014Bought these for my husband as he works outside. Of course, after they arrived the weather changed and he has not had a chance to wear them. He looked at them and told me to keep them for next year. They are a kind of double layer material, polyester with a thermal type lining and definitely won't shrink or stretch. I am giving 4 stars only because he hasn't worn them yet.

Reviewed by Sunil from Wilmington on Saturday, March 1, 2014This is a great warm turtle neck. It has 3-diamentional thickness to it and is very warm. The inside is soft and fuzzy, while the outside is smooth. The color selection was kind of disappointing but it gets to the point where I am sweating in it outside. I can't wear it indoors. Extremely efficient at keeping you warm. Size was tru to fit. I bought two of these since this winter has been horrible. I would defintely recommend for hunting, outdoor activities or anything that involves spending a long time out in the cold.

Reviewed by Nazeena Farms from Virginia on Friday, February 21, 2014Very soft and warm, yet wicks away sweat- which I seem to have plenty of, even when its 20* outside. I had been wearing 2 or even 3 shirts under my carharrt bibs, but this shirt eliminated all the bulk. Yet I was toasty warm too. I bought 2 more after trying the first one for a week!

Comfortrel® is a type of polyester fiber and improvement over original Fortrel®. The modification in the polymer and physical design of the fiber itself give fabrics a fresher, softer, noticeably cooler feeling with superior breathability and wickability. It has a soft, natural hand, superb pill resistance, excellent shape retention, and a stability that insures against wrinkling, stretching, and shrinking. [Top]

Mostly polyester with about 10% spandex.

Crazy, but I have seen several different kinds of fabrics used. I don't know if it is consistent, but tan and black were some awful shiny fabric that I would only wear as an underlayer. Olive, gray, and navy were normal knit fabric.
-
100% Polyester, which is a very generic term . There are many types of polyester fabrics, so they don't really help you out much here, but that's all I know.
-
it is a synthetic material that feels like cotton on your skin. with exercise and changing temperature (when the sun goes down here it drops about 15-20 degrees)you are still comfortable and not damp with exercise. I teach outside, so lots of exercise with periods of not moving. this product is excellent, but order one size bigger then you normally would.

The material is Comfortrel, a polyester based fabric.

Yes, it's 91% polyester and 9% spandex, and labeled for machine washing (warm) and tumble dry (low).

I wash mine all the time. I usually put them in a polyester bag in a regular warm water load to protect the fabric from zippers. The dryer is an option I use about half the time, still in the bag, until mostly dry, then take out and hang the rest of the way to avoid wrinkles. Don't forget, this is a 100% plastic shirt - NEVER try to iron or use any form of direct heat on this. Hope this helps
-
I have washed mine many times and put them in the dryer. No problems at all.
-
Yes to both. Suggest turning them inside-out to make them last longer. Dry on low. Unlike cotton they do not need drying or fabric softener to soften them up. They never wrinkle. Don't iron.||The nice thing is that these fabrics don't lose their stretch for a long time, but drying will probably make it happen faster, but they're so cheap you can replace them.
-
The label says: Machine washable warm, tumble dry low, no bleach, no iron, no fabric softener.
-
I wouldn't use a dryer. Always line-dry these types of fabrics. They dry quickly anyway
-
The Wickers T-necks are machine washable, but I never dry them in the dryer. Any wicking/performance workout clothes I prefer to hang dry.
