Plenty of food in this bundle and will be great for the trail this summer but if I was storing for a prepper application I would prefer it in a bucket-not a kind of flimsy box (mine was squished on one end but the contents were undamaged).     Plenty of food in this bundle and will be great for the trail this summer but if I was storing for a prepper application I would prefer it in a bucket-not a kind of flimsy box (mine was squished on one end but the contents were undamaged). It wouldn't be very protected from critters either. As is the price is good and the portions will be great for a small group canoe trip.

    • This item does not list expiration dates. It does have individual packaging dates on the packages, and a boxing date that the group was put together. Generally with this type of product it last for several years, and I've seen some listed to last for over a decade. The ones that I looked at were boxed in June 2017, and most of the packages made just prior to that.
