Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Lawton Grub from Colorado on Monday, May 6, 2013Great boot., love the soles, just the right mix of stiffness and cushion. First day I walked seven miles in them. Wolverines do run big and wide so keep this in mind when ordering. They are very reasonable priced for a boot made in the USA. You will notice the quality.
Reviewed by Rancher from Kansas on Monday, April 15, 2013Great boot.
I did replace the insert with a Filson cork insert and they fit much better.
The original insert had too much arch.
If they hold up over time, they could be the greatest boot for the price ever.
'A Poor Man's 1000 Mile Boot"
Reviewed by Michigan Matt from Michigan on Wednesday, March 6, 2013Good boot. Nice heavy leather, requires some break-in. Sole is nice tread vibram. I have a narrow foot, usually a 9, but I ordered 1/2 down and they fit good. Decent insole.
Reviewed by E from Denver on Sunday, March 3, 2013Great Boots that are "Made in USA." Great tread, insoles, and breathable with good socks. Almost two-tone with natural leather appearance. Classic, stylish look with blue jeans.
Reviewed by Jonathan from Nashville on Saturday, March 2, 2013These boots have top-quality leather, a Vibram tread, and nothing else. No lining, not even on the tongue; no padding at ankle or tongue. I think this is purely for cost savings, not for comfort, quality, or style. I might have kept them anyway, but they were much too large. My feet are pretty much 10 EEE; 10 in almost any brand fits, though often the only wide width available is 4E and they are a little roomy. I ordered 10 EW. The boots were at least an 11, and EW seems to equal 4E, so in a size 11 they were far too wide. I opted to stick with modern boots with cushy soles and linings. They typically last only a year, but feel so much better.
