This caught my eye in a catalogue but I thought the original price a bit steep. Then, it went on sale but the color I most wanted, blue, wasn't available. The amazing part is that when I found the item for less than the sale price at Sierra, AND that they had all three colors, I jumped in. I liked t... Read More

A nice looking jacket and it is waterproof. But the sleeves are too narrow for my husbands large hands not exactly a loose fit for my small hands to get through.

We like to wear bright or unusual colors for travel. It makes finding one another easier in a crowd.

This jacket fits into the unusual color category. It's a nice, but uncommon shade of green. It fits very well and is easy to return to the supplied pouch. It's large enough for my husband to wear a sweater under it, if necessary..

I thought that this rain jacket looked nice and it was offered at a very reasonable price. However, after trying two different sizes (L and XL) I found that the jacket simply doesn't fit right. I usually wear a L in most jackets and they nearly always fit comfortably. However, the L in this jacket was tight and uncomfortable around the body, and the XL, while being way too long in the sleeves, was still somewhat tight around the body, preventing comfortable movement. Also the fabric of the jacket felt papery and cheap when compared to other brands (such as Marmot) even though the fabric looked identical to others.

I saw this jacket on sale at a local retailer but wanted to do a little research before I bought it. I found it at STP and not only did I get to read some customer reviews, it was priced $30 less than the sale price at the other store. I prefer to shop locally but this was such a great deal I went for it.

It's lightweight and does it's job in the rain. I have not been out in the driving rain yet, and that will be the big test. The zipper can be a bit persnickety if you don't take your time but otherwise it's great.

I think it looks good too - kind of a snowboarder-ish vibe.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
