I got these because I wanted something that wasn't too short, but still gave me a cool, comfortable fit. These fit the bill, with quick-dry features, pockets that aren'y obtrusive, but functional. The rolled up option puts them right above my knees, and they don't make my knees look fat. They also fit well in the waist, and the one pocket having a hidden zip was great for my cell phone when I went to an amusement park this last weekend. They also fit true to size. I typically wear a 10-12 and I wear a 10 nicely in these, unlike many other more outdoor clothing brands in which I often find I have to go up a size or two to get a good fit. I liked these so much I found more colors on Amazon and ordered another pair. A friend saw mine and ordered a pair for herself as well.

"Convertible" is exaggerating a bit... these "convert" from extremely short Capri-length bottoms to extremely long Bermuda-length shorts - a whopping 4 or so inches; basically just the difference between having your knees covered or uncovered.

The fabric is also a good 3x thicker than every pair of hiking pants/capris/shorts that we own, making them entirely too hot & uncomfortable for hiking in.

I will be returning. Would not recommend.

Very comfortable. I bought for doing tasks at home.

Comfortable and convertible - these pants go from knee length to capri. Easy style - with no extra bulky cargo pockets. Fits and flatters.

I wish they had a color other than black in my size, but they are a really nice fit. the stretch makes them easier to move in. A nice cut when long, they are capris. Rolled up they are a nicely cut and fitting like long shorts - rather than looking like pants that were cut off to make shorts.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
