Reviewed by Anne from Bend on Thursday, February 27, 2014Husband wanted a light weight, rain resistant jacket and this fit the bill. Wish there had be other color choices, but gray was ok. Size and length were and sleeve length were all good.
Reviewed by Fasteddie from Colorado on Thursday, February 20, 2014Especially with a free shipping code, this is a nice stylish jacket for this price. It is well made, and has lots of pockets, all with zippers. The lack of ribbing on the ends of the sleeves, or something to pull them tight let's the wind get up the arms. It is good in a light wind, but not great. I sprayed mine with scotch guard, so it repels a light rain fairly well. The statement that it folds into a pocket for storage is someone's idea of a joke. The product tag even shows this, but with a lot of careful engineering in folding, no way will it fit into the opening of the pocket without damage to the pocket. In a smaller size this might work, but don't count on it. (Smaller than XXL) the netting inside of the pocket is probably big enough to hold it, but it just won't fit the opening. Never the less, it is lightweight, and can be easily folded to fit in a suitcase or carry-on. The product number does not come up on the Woolrich web site, so it is definitely an out-of-date product.
Reviewed by Ian from Oregon on Saturday, November 9, 2013I bought this jacket around a year ago, because I wanted a lightweight jacket that packed well on trips. The jacket itself is attractive, well made and lightweight, but it does not repel water at all. I live in Oregon, where it's important to have water resistant gear. This jacket works better as a lightweight windbreaker. If you're looking for a rain jacket, I recommend looking elsewhere. I still wear this jacket regularly, but only on cool dry days.
