I think this skirt is great for the price. I ordered it in one color, loved it, ordered the other. I'm not sure what other reviewers found so off abouth the fabric, the specs clearly state it is poly...and it IS poly FLEECE. The outside is a loosly woven fabric, the inside is brushed fleece. We'll see how it goes through the wash. It's stiff and scratchy and a little see through (the knit is a little loose) so would have to be worn with leggings or tights. The stiffness makes it hang funny - and it may be that I just have to give it to a taller friend.

I ordered the skirt is medium and I found it ran small so I am doing an exchange.

Will love this for the fall when I have to go out to Boulder, light weight but will be warm.

I also purchased the jacket which makes a wonderful set I am buy one set for my mother for an X-mas gift.

I cannot believe I almost did not get this skirt. Read the reviews that were out and there were some concerns on the weight however, here is South Texas it is just what the weather man ordered! It has been my go to skirt through fall winter and our now spring like weather. When it was really cold I put tights on underneath but usually it was just right for walking the dog and general errands. I have yet to change do to the thickness. True to size and a modest mid thigh length. Has survived Multiple washings with light drying. I wish I would have ordered another color before my size ran out!

Every once in a while you order something that far exceeds expectation for me it was this skirt. I ordered another one as soon as I got it. I live in Alaska & this will be a very warm skirt. Outside looks like a sweater while the inside is soft like a sweatshirt. I know others said the waistband was bulky but I did not find this the case at all.

Runs true to size, awesome with leggings in the winter.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
