Got boots as a gift for a friend. She loved the boot but had to return them as they were too small. No half sizes. Should have gone one size up.

These boots look great and feel wonderfully comfortably. I will most likely wear these boots when their is no snow. The sizing is very accurate. I highly recommend this purchase.

I just received my boots yesterday and am wearing them today to see how warm they keep my feet. If my feet are warm usually the rest of me is. I purchased these to take the place of some house shoes I have about worn out. These shoes have a faux fur lining while my others have a 100% wool lining so I can wear them without socks and my feet stay toasty warm. The faux fur lining in these does not seem to insulate my feet as well as the wool as I had hoped they would, I have to wear socks with them. I am wearing them around the house this weekend to see how they perform. If they do not perform as I desire I will return them. Many people on here are saying they run small. I typically prefer to wear a 5.5 wide but usually I have to go up to a 6. I ordered these in the 6 and they fit just as I had expected them to. But, with a pair of thick insulated socks, it does create a tighter fit.

I am an 8.5 and always order 9 for boots because I want to be able to wear warm socks. These boots in a 9 fit me like 8.5, like a glove, no room to spare. Order a size up if you want it to fit perfect, if you want room for thick socks, maybe even a whole size up. I haven't worn them outside yet (just tried them on in my living room) so I don't know if they'll stretch the way leather does. Does suede, stretch? Anyway, they are very cute!

  • “Will you ever have this product in black ( not checkered ) size 9 ?”

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
