I wear size 14 and ordered a large. It was too small. More like a size 12. Returned.
  • You need large hips for this one

I am 5 ft 2 in, 110pounds and have a boyish, not curvy figure. I tried XS. The torso and bodice were pretty and fit great. Below the waist was awful - the hips that are huge. Even if I were curvier, I wouldn’t have filled them out. There was a ton of extra fabric sticking out.

  • The Empire Waist Isn't For Large Chests
Reviewed by Joeswife from Pacific NW on Sunday, March 11, 2018
I loved the color and the fabric of this dress. The shape was easy and seemed like it would wash and wear easily.
The reason why I returned it was for the empire waist. I am 5'5 and I am a 36H. The seam cut right across the breast line and was unflattering on me. I wish the waist would have been cut at the natural waistline.
I would recommend. The construction was nice and the fabric was super soft.

I have both dresses in S & M, different colors. The small fits and is a bit shorter, will wear with tights. The medium works as well, slightly looser but still fitted enough, and longer, so can wear alone.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
