I live in Michigan so we have some snowy winters. My feet have never been cold or wet. Nice comfy boots. Only gave 4 stars because the run a little small. I always wear an 8 so I ordered an 8. They are a little snug but the woolen insulation forms to your foot and they are fine now. To bad they don’t have half sizes. All in all a great boot especially at the price. Very well made.

I originally purchased a pair of brown boots. I love them so much I decided to get a black pair before my size was no longer available. The boots are nicely lined with wool, so order up a size. Well made boots. You can feel the quality when you slip them on. I wear a woman's size 9.5 and I ordered a man's size 9 and they fit perfect. I highly recommend these boots while they last. What a great price.

It looks like the middle layer of the sole might actually be plywood. I'm hoping the sole becomes a bit more flexible in time. If so, they'd warrant 5 stars. So, if you want a nice warm boot for casual wear without a lot of walking involved, they are great buy.

Because the boots are fully lined, the seam stitching between the upper and rubber lower is covered so it doesn't dig into my feet as unlined versions of this type if footwear does. Very happy with this purchase.

Just got them and OMG the feel was awesome when I put them on. Substantial is the word that comes to mind. Worthy purchase. I purchased the brown color and I will purchase a black pair as well. I purchased 1/2 size up and they were still snugger than I expected. However, you must consider the wool lining will compact over time and should be perfect. I say this to say do not select your exact size go up at least 1/2 size. The boots will last forever. The soles are unbelievable. I do highly recommend this boot. I am a woman and wear a ladies size 9.5 in boots. I got the men's size 9. The boots do look big when you first pull them out the box, however the feel will win you over.

When I received them, I could hardly get my foot into them. I had my wife try them on and we're convinced they are sized for women. Don't waste your money. The heaviness of this boot was enough to deter me. Not to mention Sierra Trading Post charges you for shipping whether you return or exchange, I'll remember that in the future.
