Warm, windproof, and lightweight. Me, and my coat can fit in the car seat with a seat belt on. Love the color too.

    • The binding that goes around the edge of the hood, and the jacket front and cuffs, has a little stretch. However there is no drawstring or pull cord.

    • No. On a very windy day it's going to blow back. But the shape is good and it will stay up if it's only breezy. The piping at edge of hood, jacket edges and cuffs is narrow and stretchy, so it shapes the hood around your face a little.

    • There is no way to cinch it, but it doesn't fall down. It is shaped well and fits relatively closely.

    • The hood does not have a way to cinch it.

  • “Does this coat fit small?”
Asked by Maria from Utah on 1/18/2017 10:50:22 AM
    • No. It's generously-sized enough to fit over a couple of winter layers. I especially appreciate that it doesn't have skinny arms, because I don't either! (I ordered S and was worried it might be too snug, but it wasn't!)
Answered on 1/18/2017 1:02:19 PM by dedetf from Tennessee
    • No, I would say it has a roomy fit. I wear a 12 and got the Large and it's big enough to layer. It's not an athletic fit like some brands.

    • According to our fit team this item is running true to size.

  • “Is this jacket water resistant?”
Asked by Randall from Ohio on 12/5/2016 5:17:25 PM
    • Item 171YT has water-repellent ripstop fabric

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
