Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice stretchy lighter weight wool sock!
Reviewed by oakhill from Pennsylvania on Monday, May 2, 2016
A few years ago I started using wool socks year round, whenever I needed socks, because I discovered they do a MUCH better job of keeping my feet dry, warm, AND cool, depending on the season. I have found that nothing works better than wool to accomplish all three, which many might find weird. So when cute wool socks come up for sale, I jump at the chance to pick up a couple more pairs. I did with these, and am extremely pleased. The lighter weight is perfect for Spring, Summer and Fall, they have plenty of stretch, wash nicely (I always line dry my wool socks!), and have a pretty pattern that isn't loud and does not have in-your-face bright colors (I prefer muted more conservative colors, what can I say.) Way to go Woolrich.

The sock Fits perfectly, stays up on the leg, isn’t too tight, hasn’t pilled and has washed beautifully.

The only thing I didn't like about these socks were they had a little too much elasticity in them. I have problems with my legs and the elasticity really bothered them if I left them on more than a couple of hours. They are very warm and very well made. I wish the elasticity didn't bother my legs so much. They were true to size also.

Simply the best socks ever for casual daily wear. They're soft but hold up to wear very well-- I even can't tell which socks are older and which are new. Contrary to the description these are not cheap "printed" patterns at all; the design is woven in.
    I'm a women's shoe size 9 and size M fits perfectly

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
