My husband liked the color and style, however, the zipper does not go all the way up to the neck. It does have a button tab at the neck, but that would be too much trouble for him. It also leaves a 4 in, gap between the top of the zipper and the button and necessitate a scarf most of the time. My husband is 6 ft. 190 lbs. and the extra-large was way too big - even with a sweater.

This coat is the quality of style and material I've come to expect from Woolrich products with the only complaint coming from the front zipper. The zipper ends about 3/4 of the way up, just about 3 to4" below the chin, I'm trying to determine if it's a design flaw or construction second. There is a button over tab at the chin that would seem to offer protection if needed. I like the coat, it fits well, is warm, and the material sheds water, a very nice purchase for the price.

Surprisngly poor quality. Very light and thin. Smaller than the size.
    • Cons: Not Warm, Poor Quality, Wrinkles Easily
    • Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser
    • Length: Feels true to length
    • Sizing: Feels too small
    • Sleeve Length: Feels true to length
    • Was this a gift?: No

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
