4.0 out of 5 stars. Great thicknessVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa the Mom from AL on Friday, November 23, 2018I enjoyed the medium thickness of these socks. Very cozy. They do create fusses on the outside after a few washes, but functional overall.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa the Mom from Alabama on Monday, November 12, 2018They are so soft, medium thickness (which I like), and keep my feet cozy. It does create fuss balls on the exterior of socks. Hoping with more washing, that will go away.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice wool shortie socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by fbcamper from Evanston on Thursday, November 8, 2018I always appreciate wool socks. These are a good between-seasons length. Surprisingly thick, as other reviewers have mentioned -- if you want a liner-type sock this isn't for you; but I like some cushioning. Price was right.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Socks!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Monday, May 8, 2017These socks did what they were advertised to do. They kept my feet cool and dry in the first real heat we have had this year, 90 degrees. I am not disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great wool sockVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain Mac from colorado on Monday, July 11, 2016Heavier weight which is great for sandal wear in trail locations. Have not washed but anticipate some shrink but even the XLG works for my size 10 women's foot

4.0 out of 5 stars. You'll love them if you like them cushy.Reviewed by Anonymous from TN on Saturday, May 21, 2016Nice enough wool socks. They're thicker and cushier than I prefer, and so my feet feel damper than they do in harder/denser knitted sock. The soft knit seems to pill fairly quickly on the outside; after several days' wear and three washes the outside has pilled up considerably, while my dozens-of-washes icebreakers don't exhibit any at all to speak of.
Sizing seems about even with smartwool, and a medium runs a bit smaller than icebreaker and fox river. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Not impressed. Inconsistent sizing!Reviewed by oakhill from Pennsylvania on Monday, May 2, 2016If I hadn't got these for such a low price, I would have returned one of the pairs, because the inconsistency in sizing was SO far off as to be laughable. Woolrich usually does better than this, so I was disappointed. Either someone erred when the socks were packaged, or their quality control on these is very, very poor. I ordered mediums, and one of the pairs wasn't too bad, but another was SO small I could not even get them on my foot. I would have rated them a one, but the pairs that fit are a decent material, and are comfortable. Just be warned that you won't know what you are getting size-wise if you order these.
