Great socks at a great price!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nikki from Iowa on Thursday, April 26, 2018First pair of hiking socks I have bought. We just started hiking this year. Great for those that don't want to spend a fortune on socks.
comfy, cushy, cozyReviewed by DresserGal from Fayetteville, AR on Thursday, March 8, 2018I bought 2 pr at first and came back for 4 more in different colors. I wear size 9 in women's shoes with wide feet and tall arches. I could have fit in L or M and since some socks shrink slightly I went with L. For my feet, L is somewhat oversized but there is enough stretch to hold the sock to my foot so while size M would have fit, the Ls are effectively thicker (hence nice and cushy) and they do not bunch up or move around inside my shoe. Cuffs are on the tighter side but I'd rather that than have them sliding down. These are my absolute favorite socks now, for wear in moderate winter weather (we aren't in the arctic here in NW Arkansas!)
Have washed these several times and they hold up well. Suggest turning inside out before laundering to reduce pilling on exterior, and line dry to extend life of wool and stretchiness. I anticipate getting several seasons' wear out of these!

Wonderful, comfortable socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gritz from Oregon on Friday, February 17, 2017I ordered these in preparation for a winter Glacier NP trip, and while I have not yet been to Glacier, I have immensely appreciated the comfort and warmth of these socks in some cold and rainy Portland weather. I own many pairs of wool socks and these may be my new favorite.
Woolrich Spruce Creek hikerVerified Buyer Reviewed by mo from Portland on Thursday, February 9, 2017Soft, warm, and comfortable wool blend sock surprisingly (and pleasantly) thicker than I expected. They hold up well after washing with minimal shrinkage.
Great SocksReviewed by AwezomeSauce from California on Friday, February 3, 2017I've recently become obsessed with wool socks. These do not disappoint. Get a few if you can you won't regret it. Great weight for southern California winter hiking. Thicker than liner wool socks but not as thick as the super heavyweight socks you would use for extreme winter.
Love theseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Desert Scrambler from CA, NV on Friday, July 8, 2016Woolrich hasn't let me down yet. I bought these in white/tan and they are so soft and comfortable with plenty of stretch, a treat to put on.
Being a women's size 9 means you're right on the cusp of Smartwool's M and L so neither one is a great fit. These Woolrich socks fit perfectly. I wore these for about 7 miles and they felt good- no annoying seams and the ankles stayed up without being too tight. Have also worn them to work to keep my feet cool in the summer.
