Woolrich hasn't let me down yet. I bought these in white/tan and they are so soft and comfortable with plenty of stretch, a treat to put on.

I ordered these in preparation for a winter Glacier NP trip, and while I have not yet been to Glacier, I have immensely appreciated the comfort and warmth of these socks in some cold and rainy Portland weather. I own many pairs of wool socks and these may be my new favorite.

Soft, warm, and comfortable wool blend sock surprisingly (and pleasantly) thicker than I expected. They hold up well after washing with minimal shrinkage.

I've recently become obsessed with wool socks. These do not disappoint. Get a few if you can you won't regret it. Great weight for southern California winter hiking. Thicker than liner wool socks but not as thick as the super heavyweight socks you would use for extreme winter.

Being a women's size 9 means you're right on the cusp of Smartwool's M and L so neither one is a great fit. These Woolrich socks fit perfectly. I wore these for about 7 miles and they felt good- no annoying seams and the ankles stayed up without being too tight. Have also worn them to work to keep my feet cool in the summer.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
