After buying each available color in my size, I purchased for my son. These wash well, are colorfast and do not shrink. They do not appear to retain odors. The details in the pattern are well matched front and rear. The rear cape also has the pattern on the bias for an interesting touch. Hang dry out of the washer and they will line dry in no time without any wrinkles.

The fit is toward the relaxed side of things. I debated getting an XL but the L is right on for me! The length lends itself to tucking in.

I love the feel of the fabric to touch and its so comfortable to wear. I expect it will be especially appreciated on hot days out-of-doors.

The pattern in green and black looks very sharp in real life. Bottom line, I wish they still had size L in more colors.

To continue my prior review, the open top chest pocket does not pose much of a problem. The pattern alignment is top notch and gives this shirt something to separate it from the run-of-the-mill. I since purchased additional shirts in other colors in my size. Best practice was to hang this shirt wet, right out of the washer. It will quickly dry with no wrinkles.

This shirt is cut on the American size, slightly larger than most, as is common throughout the Woolrich line. The bias cut pattern on the front and back yoke give it a bit of style. The pattern is well aligned on front and rear, giving the shirt a more finished and refined appearance. The chest pockets are doubled, open at the top AND a second pocket through the flap. Some separation is noted between the rear pocket and shirt as it pulls open when the flap pocket is filled. Time will tell if this issue becomes a problem. Washes well. Par dry and hang damp for no wrinkles. Does not appear to retain odors. Wish they had more colors in my size!

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
