This is a fantastic western jacket. But not my style. I have to typically get two XL for my long arms but in this case it made the jacket like a swimming pool.

This is a well made jacket for work or casual wear when you don't need something real heavy. It seems like it should be warm without adding my bulk. The sleeves and body length do run a bit long but this is a plus for some when wearing it to work in. You can reach and lean over without have the jacket ride up your arms and body. The knit collar, cuffs and bottom are heavier than most knits I have seen and should hold up well. I do with the sleeves had the same taffeta lining as the front. I am not sure why they just did the front unless it was for added wind protection. Lined sleeves would slide over shirts easier than the unlined fleece. I also wish they had left off the vertical chest pocket. For me, it's useless and the front would have looked cleaner without the vertical pocket trim. Overall, it's a nice jacket that is a cut above what you will find in the box stores. I love for the service, quality and value they provide.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
