Comfy and cute!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Portland Mama from Portland on Tuesday, March 6, 2018Easy, low maintenance dress that is super versatile. Dress it up or down, wear it solo, pair with leggings and/or a sweater. Super cute, not too form fitting, but has a nice shape. I liked the black one so much I bought the red/orange one as well!
Stretchy and cotton—seems likely to wash poorlyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sal from Washington, DC on Tuesday, February 27, 2018Three stars for comfort and flatttering shape—but I’m worried it will stretch and get misshapen in the wash.
Great dressVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pleased buyer from Texas on Saturday, February 24, 2018Comfy fit.
Cute, flattering, and comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Portland Mama from Portland on Saturday, February 17, 2018Can’t ask for much more from a simple dress!
Simple but cuteVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain Chic from California on Wednesday, February 14, 2018Simple dress, but the neckline and seam running down the back give it a fun and youthful vibe. 5'5" 160 and the L fits perfectly.
Cute & versatileVerified Buyer Reviewed by Granjan from NC on Thursday, July 13, 2017I ordered this dress in the green, size large, my usual size. I liked everything about it except the fit. It was a little too small for me so i'm trying to find a new home for it. It looks like it could be dressed up or down and is a nice weight for summertime.
Beware irregular sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jojo from Oregon on Sunday, June 11, 2017The XS in green was larger than in the other colors which were tiny, 0-2. The green more like a S.
VERY cute, hoping it won't shrink...Reviewed by Momof3ontherun from Illinois on Sunday, May 28, 2017This is a very cute dress that I can see easily dressing up or down. Bought with intentions of wearing to work with a jacket or cardigan on top. I purchased in the black color (no longer available, it seems). I didn't realize it was cotton so I'm just hoping it won't shrink or fade with washing since those are common issues I've experienced with other black cotton items. Will plan to line dry for sure. I'm usually a M in athletic-cut dresses and M is true to size in this dress (again, hoping it won't shrink as fit is just perfect out of the box).
Great dressVerified Buyer Reviewed by MSweet from Northern Michigan on Thursday, May 11, 2017This dress is extremely comfortable; it's like wearing your PJs to work! It runs a tad big, but not enough to warrant downsizing.

“Did you order your size after reviewing the size chart provided and was it helpful? I'm considering the workshop jersey A-line dress as a beach cover-up so I'd have something to put on after the beach if we spontaneously went up on the boardwalk without going home to shower and change. It happens often; we live at the beach and hate the summertime traffic so if we go home we won't go back out. I'm 5'3" and fluctuate between 110 to 125 lbs; I wear a size 4 in prAna, a Columbia size 4, 6 or 8 depending on the garment, and generally size 6 in mountain hardware apparel so I'm on the fence between a small or medium. I'm tired of the baggy t-shirt and shorts plus I've graduated to a skirted bottom so I'd appreciate any thoughts / comments? Thank you.”
I fluctuate between L and XL for most clothing these days. I wanted something that wasn’t form fitting and clingy so that it would be comfortable in the summer heat, and getting the XL was perfect. It has a nice cut (doesn’t look like a shapeless potato sack like some shirt-dresses), is totally no-fuss, can be dressed up or worn with flip-flops. I got the black and liked it so much I also bought the red. Could also be worn like a tunic with leggings and boots and sweater.
