I have no problem with the anything other than the drag, the drag seems to stick ever so slightly when you turn the knob to a certain point--before it should. It reminds me of cheaper reels in that way. But I think at the STP clearance price I would buy it again.

Was excited to try this reel out. The Skeet Reese rods are awesome and expected this to be the same. I may have gotten a defective product and the possibility of that comes with all products out there.

My reel handle would roatate smoothly when reeling fast with a lure. However if I was using plasitics and barely reeling in for some movement, the handle would stick in one spot. I had to put alot of pressure on the handle to move it past that spot and I'd end up reeling to much line in. Point being it should be smooth for any type of reeling action, even Walmart $20 combos felt better.

Second the handle is super long and sticks way out. I believe the product states it has fast line retrieve, but you have to reel in a circle larger then a softball, which kills the faster then normal retrieving notion.

Would not buy again, however will by more Skeet Reese rods.
